Fundamental Teachings of Islam 29 Question 3: What is the excellence of reciting ɟ ّٰ ﺑِ@ْﻢِ اﻟﻠ before making Wudu? Answer: If a person recites ɟ ّٰ ِ وَاﻟْﺤَﻤْﺪُ ﻟِﻠ ɟ ّٰ ﺑِ@ْﻢِ اﻟﻠ before he makes Wudu, the angels will keep on writing virtues for him for as long as his Wudu exists. (Mu’jam-ul-Zawāid, Kitāb-ut-Ṭaĥārat, Vol. 1, p. 513, Hadees 112) Question 4: What is the excellence of reciting َﺎدِرُ < َﺎ 5 while making Wudu? Answer: The one who recites َﺎدِرُ < َﺎ 5 during Wudu, will not be kidnapped by his enemy. Sins fall during Wudu The Holy Prophet ! ٖ !  ʋ   ʄ% has stated: When a person makes Wudu, his sins fall, those of hands when washing hands, those of face whilst washing the face, those of head whilst passing wet hands over the head and those of feet whilst washing the feet.
