It is stated in a Ḥ adīš, ‘Verily, every religion has a quality and the quality of Islam is modesty.’ (Sunan Ibn Māja ĥ , Vol. 4, p. 460, Ḥ adīš 4181; Dār-ul-Ma’rifa ĥ , Beirut) In other words, every Ummah has one such quality that is more prominent than its other qualities, and that prominent quality of Islam is modesty. www.dawateislami.net
